I've run
RegCM with different domain sizes
(150WEx105SN, 100WEx70SN, 75WEx50SN, and 50WEx25SN grid points) and
with the same central point of Kazakhstan (48 N and 68
E).
When I
look at outputs, for example, ATM (see attached CTL files), central point is
moved by 14 degree southward in the case of bigger domain (34 N and 68
E).
Thus
northern latitude is about of 56 N (northern boundary of Kazakhstan), while
southern latitude of domain is about of 12 N (southern boundary of Kazakhstan is
about 41 N).
We use
Lambert Conformal projection.
