Greetings,
I read this paper (https://doi.org/10.1080/16742834.2020.1697615) and they stated that modifying Zoq in Zeng Ocean Flux scheme and introducing spray effect in Tiedtke Cumulus scheme could improve the model performance. To modify the Zoq, I could modify https://github.com/ICTP/RegCM/blob/CORDEX-5/Main/ocnlib/mod_ocn_zeng.F90 and recompile RegCM. I had a problem with integrating the spray effect on Tiedtke scheme. Here I attach an excerpt from this paper (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00382-008-0487-2), which is the reference of the paper I have read. May I have your guidance to integrate this spray effect into RegCM? Thank you.
Best regards,
Asyam
