Dear colleagues,

We invite you to submit your abstract to our AGU Fall Meeting session
*A111* *"Regional climate: modeling, analysis, and impacts”*
<https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm23/prelim.cgi/Session/189012>. This
session focuses on the state of the art in modeling and analysis of
regional climate and regional climate impacts on
subseasonal-to-multidecadal-to-centennial timescales. Contributions are
solicited on coordinated modeling experiments such as CORDEX; novel
approaches for model evaluation and analysis, especially
process-oriented analysis of climate extremes in observations and
simulations; new developments such as coupled earth system modeling at
regional scales and convection permitting simulations; ensemble methods
and uncertainty analyses; and assessing the added value of regional
modeling. Results from the use of regional models for process
understanding, downscaling of IPCC climate change scenarios, and
modeling and analysis of climate impacts are also encouraged.

Invited Speakers: Jens Hesselbjerg Christensen (University of
Copenhagen) and Alan Rhoades (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory)

The deadline for abstract submission is *2 August, 2023 at 23:59 p.m.
ET/03:59 +1 GMT.*  Abstracts will not be accepted for review after this
date.

Hope to see you there!

Melissa Bukovsky (University of Wyoming)
Paul Ullrich (UC Davis)
L. Ruby Leung (PNNL)
Eli Dennis (UCLA)
