Dear Wahi
I think you have installed netcdf-fortran in a non standard place (here I mean the prefix flag while configuring).
I would suggest adding following argument while configuring RegCM-
./configure LIBS="-L/path/to/netcdf-fortran/lib -lnetcdff"
I hope it will work, as it did for me.
Write if you have further queries.

Subject: [RegCNET] RegCM installation question
Dear all,
We are trying to investigate the RegCM package and to use it intensively
later on.
My question is related to the installation steps, I am using the
following PDF as a documentation "user_guide_regesm.pdf" which is
downloaded from: http://gforge.ictp.it/gf/project/regcm/
My system is a Linux cluster with Scientific Linux 6.8 x86_64 and GCC
version 4.4.7
I installed everything (ZLIB, HDF5, NETCDF (cxx and fortran), ESMF) no
erros everything is fine. But when trying to install RegCM I am getting
error that we need GCC 4.6 > is it right ?
When I tried to install everything in my local home directory I had
error that RegCM doesn't find NETCF-FORTAN
Could you please help us to simplify this step and to finalize the
installation process.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Wahi
