Dear all,
Using the default namelist settings from Regcm45 code zip, I conducted some experiments with dust scheme, but the aod value from output *STS*.nc file is extremely high, and the max aod value reachs the level of 1e3 and even 1e30 . And I also found the the burden is extremely high when the aod is extremely high.
Besides, I also tried to use other settings, such as using CLM45 with dust scheme instead of BATS , or different moisture scheme and cumulus convection scheme, but the high AOD value still existed.
Appendix: the detail information of the script :regcm.in and others (you can download in the added appendixs)
I want to know how this happens and what I can do to solve this problem. And what is the normal range of aod values in the regcm4 output.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
