[RegCNET] CLM dry bias

Hi Michael

by dry bias I assume you refer to precipitation (not soil moisture). In 
this case, it depends a lot on the convection scheme you use. With Grell, 
CLM is always too dry. Things are better with the Emanuel and Kain-Fritsch 
schemes. these schemes also have several parameters you can tune to 
increase the precip. In fact, there are parameters you can tune also in 
the large scale precip. Send us the .in file you are using, we can see 
whether you are employing some dry parameter settings (that work with 
BATS-Grell, but not CLM).
