[RegCNET] conversion of average monthly precipitation from kg/m2/sec to mm/day

Dear RegCNET users,
I would like to know how to convert average monthly convective precipitation from kg/m2/sec to mm/day, i tried this command 

/usr/local/cdo/bin/cdo -runmean,2 -monmean -daymean -mulc,86400 -selvar,prc filein.nc fileout.nc
but the values produced were up to 50 mm/day, so i face a problem with it. Can any one advice me?
