[RegCNET] ERA-I and NCEP Reanalysis II

Hello RegCNET users,

I made a simple experiment on RegCM-4.4.1 for comparison between 2 radiation schemes CCM3 and RRTM. For simplification, I verify for radiation parameters, albedo and downward shortwave with ERA-I and NCEP Reanalysis. For ERA i faced a little problem, after regrid of ERA, the scale for shortwave downward  was from 2*10^6 to 5*10^7 J/m2 and for RegCM from 240 to 380 W/m2.

For NCEP-II, i regrid it on RegCM using regrid in bin directory, so it's scale from 230 to 340 W/m2 and for  RegCM from 240 to 380 W/m2. and  NCEP is 2.5*2.5 degree. So is it right to regrid from ncep to RegCM directly or not??

Any advice plz.
