[RegCNET] how to modify snow parameterization

Hello everyone,


I want to study the effect of snow variations (snow depth, snow cover) based on observation on climate using RegCM4.3.4 coupled with CLM3.5, but I do not know how to do this. 
I have searched some emails sended in ReGCM NET, a message said "i.e. you run the model for some years, let the snow accumulate, then extract the last timestep of the snow from the SRF output to have the production run start with a realistic snow cover". Although this, a detailed steps are still not clear.
 And I checked SRF output, but snow thickness is only found. Is there anybody can tell me how to modify snow depth and snow cover and run RegCM4.3.4 according to the modified snow condition?
Any prompts will be grateful.
