Q1: RegCM gives the precipitation in Kg/m^2 s . To change units to mm/day you need to multiply by 86400 .
Q2: The output in 3 hourly data to get the total daily amount of the we need to calculated the average for 3 hourly data. Yes, the average not the sum.

Hi all,
I'm very skeptical about RegCM output. The SRF variable provide total precipitation at 3-hour interval
i.e 8*30days=240 for one month...
My queries are as follows:-
Q.1 What is the command to get daily data in mm/day if my SRF variable generates precipiatation variable in mm/s ?
Q.2 Is the precipitation generated by RegCM output is cumulative or seperate for each interval i.e if I sum all values for day 1 {sum(tpr,t=1,t=8)} then, is the answer equal to the precipitation obtained from t=8 ??
Please help
Best regards
