[RegCNET] abort in mod_bdycod

Dear RegCNETters,

I'm having a bit of a trouble with one of my RegCM runs. The simulations 
has been running without a glitch for a long time and suddenly I'm 
getting this error:

MPI_ABORT was invoked on rank 0 in communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD
with errorcode 1.

  mod_bdycod.F90 :      154:            1

I've generated ICBC files until 20190101, so the ICBC data are there. 
Weird thing is that this only happens on CORDEX-Africa domain. The same 
RegCM 4.2 with the same forcing model CNRM-CM5 on Euro-CORDEX domain 
does not crash at all.

Can someone give me any advice how to overcome this issue or debug it?
