Dear RegCNETers,
The Center of Excellence for Climate Change Research (CECCR) at King
Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia announces new
applications for two years Master Degree (Master in Meteorology)
Scholarship Program starting Fall 2013. The deadline to submit
applications is 15th February 2013. The newly admitted students may
have the opportunity to join CECCR funded research projects.
Based on the performance and after finishing the Master degree
program, the selected candidates may be admitted directly to PhD
program in Meteorology.
The following conditions must be fulfilled for the scholarship:
1. B.Sc. degree/certificate (at least very good/first class) in
Meteorology, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Sciences, Civil
Engineering.
2. The graduation should not be more than 5 years from the application date.
3. TOEFL score of 500 (paper based or equivalent) or 5.5 band in IELTS.
4- Applicant's age should be less than 26.
The scholarships are for two years, and include the following basic benefits:
1. Monthly stipend: 1900 Saudi Riyal (1USD = 3.75 Saudi Riyal).
2. Accommodation in the university dorms.
3. Health Care.
4. Yearly return air ticket to the applicants' home country.
5. Tuition fee waiver.
