[RegCNET] CLM error and Monin-Obukhov length

I'm running an Africa domain with RegCM4.3, using CLM.
First time I run with CLM.

I'm getting this error

    Error: Forcing height is below canopy height for pft index

from CanopyFluxesMod.F90

I've learned it's a check before the computation of the Monin-Obukhov 
length on the
variable

   zldis = forc_hgt_u - displa

Forcing height is must be greater than vertical displacement (I guess 
vertical displacement is
the height of canopy).

Has anyone had the same problem? Any idea for solutions?
Or shall I cut the treetops ...
