Dear all,
The problem is resolved but still need a help. please.
I chose gfortran-gcc instead of intel compiler, and works with regcmSerial.
With BAND I'd like to use np=2 but the program stop with following message
MPI_ABORT was invoked on rank 1 in communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD
with errorcode 1.
NOTE: invoking MPI_ABORT causes Open MPI to kill all MPI processes.
You may or may not see output from other processes, depending on
exactly when Open MPI kills them.

Subject: [RegCNET] regcmSerial, anyone still uses it?
Dear all,
Just wonder if there is anyone still uses regcmSerial. I have installed RegCM4.2 on a workstation and have them tested.
terrain, sst and icbc seem properly installed and got the input files and properly plotted. Then on running regcmSerial, I got segmentation fault error. I checked old postings, and found similar problem: memory or stack related problem. As Bi's suggestion, I did "ulimit -s unlimited" but the problem still there. Reducing the domain size to it's half did not help.
I had the output files, but they were empty files.
Is there possibility to overcome this problem?
I use Fedora 14 and Intel Compilers (ver 12). Will the program work if change my OS to 64-bit system?
Regards,
Mahally
