Dear Mahally Kudsy,

RegCM-3 and RegCM-4 are completely in a different programming paradigm, so you have to totally migrate to RegCM-4. I do not think there is an option to use old style files and you can not use old regcm.in file directly as well, you need to custemize it. Enjoy computing using the latest RegCM-4.2.

Subject: [RegCNET] RegCM4 files...

Dear RegCM4 users,

I just plan to migrate from RegCM3 to RegCM4, and just now realized so many huge new files. But I don't want to purge my old files if is it still usable for the new version. Would you please advice if I can still use the static files. The old GTOPO takes *-CDF name but the new ones using GTOPO*.nc. Should I download the new files completely.

And what about regcm,in? Is the old version (version RegCM3) is still usable? I apologize if I am lagged behind.

Best regards,
Mahally Kudsy
