[RegCNET] RegCM4.0-Aerosol-aext8

Hello

aext8 is the optical depth per layer and is relative to all aerosols
included in the simuation. The total AOD is obtained by summing aext8 on
the vertical , in the sigma level grid. 8 stands for the fact that this
optical depth is outputed for the band number 8 of the regcm radiation
code ( i.e the visible band), it is not related to the tracer number ...

regards

Fabien
ps : check also the regcnet archive for discussion of vertical
interpolation of optical parameters
