Hi Irini,

I have run RegCM4 at 30 km resolution, 100x128 grid points 23 z levels from 1989 to 2009 and it is taking about 1.6 Terabytes space, the ICBC and daily postprocessed data is also included.

Hope you will get the idea about your disk space !

Faisal

  Dear all,

I want to run RegCM4 for my phD study in order to detect the future climate changes over the Mediterranean in general and especially over Greece. I am thinking of using 30km resolution over Mediterranean and 10km over Greece. I want to ask you what memory and disk space my computer must have. I haven't yet decided the exact lon x lat grid I will use, but I am thinking of using the following area:
  -50- 400 longitude and 280- 500 latitude.
  Any help would be invaluable.
  Thank you in advance.

  Irini Yiannikopoulou
