[RegCNET] how to reduce excess rainfall over ocean

Dear RegCM users,
We have run ReGCM-4.0 for one year on a domain centered over India, with NCEP 6-hourly reanalyses and Reynolds weekly SST as
boundary conditions, CLM as the land surface scheme and diurnal SST scheme activated. Although the amount of simulated
rainfall on land is quite good, it is overestimated over Bay of Bengal and the Arabian sea in comparison with observations
(figure for JJAS average rainfall of ReGCM-4.0 and GPCP is attached in powerpoint).
The following physics schemes were specifically chosen:
iboudy = 5
ibltyp = 1
icup = 2
igcc = 2
ipptls = 1
iocnflx = 2
ipgf = 0
and guloce = 0.99.
Can anybody suggest of tuning any other parameter/variable by which the excessive rainfall over ocean may be reduced ?
We have tried other schemes like that of Kuo and Emanuel but in those cases either the rainfall was very less over land or over
eastern equatorial Indian ocean.
Thanks and regards,
