I suggest you use Intel Non-Commercial FORTRAN compiler,
you can download it for free at

http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/non-commercial-software-development/

You'd better both C++ and FORTRAN.

The emails you got will contain the Licence file which allows you use for 
free.
