Hi Vincent,
Are you aware that RegCM3 is to be replaced by RegCM4 end of June? I am happy with RegCM4. Are you at CSAG? If so, I suggest you move to RegCM4 and Bode can help you set it up. I can assist you too since I know the machines there.
On your current problem, I don't know how you can speed things up but rather to change from dailies to monthly etc. depending on what you are analysing. With RegCM4, in some of the post processing when all is sorted, you can select variables to post process I think.
