[RegCNET] PhD Graduate Assistantship

A PhD Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) is available at the University of Connecticut (UConn), Dept. of Natural Resources and the Environment to conduct research on the coupled climate-hydrology  variability and changes as well as the impacts of climate change in the water and agricultural sectors over the Greater Horn of Africa ( especially over the Nile River Basin (sub-basins))
Potential candidates  should have  strong computational and programming skills as well as experience in coupled regional climate modeling  or hydrologic modeling (including groundwater modeling)

This opportunity is available immediately and can begin as early as  Sept/Fall 2010. But, consideration will be given to strong candidates who may only be able to enroll in the Spring/Jan, 2011.
