Dear Ashraf,
Thanks for your email. From your help, I think the concentration of aerosol is calculated as followes:
Trac is the mixing ratio of aerosol in CHE* files. Is it the quality ratio of aerosol to dry air? if it is, and C is the concentration of aerosol, D is the dentisity of dry air, then
Trac=C/D,and D=P/RT,so C=P*Trac/RT. P is the pressure, R is the dry air gas constant, T is the temperature and it is the output in ATM* files. And Trac,P,T are in the same level.
Is my understanding right?
Thanks very much once again!

With my best wishes,
Su

Dear Su,
The vertical mixing ratio is exist in the output and simply you can
convert it to mass concentration. The variable is called tracer mixing
ratio and it is in kg/kg in CHEM* files

With my best wishes,
Ashraf
