Dear RegCM3 users,

I am new to the list. Just getting started with the model, setting it up to run over west Africa to study dust-climate interactions. Any advice on that is much appreciated.

I modified the code so that the model now runs with ERA-Interim as input. If users are interested I can post the modifications.

I have one question regarding the wind output fields. I save output every 3 hours. Do the surface wind fields (u10m, v10m) and atmospheric wind fields represent instantaneous winds or are they some kind of average over a certain time period?

Many thanks for your help.

Best wishes,
Sebastian
