Hi there regcnetters!
I'd like to run some nested simulations of RegCM in the HadAM GCM and was
wondering if anyone who has managed to nest RegCM in one of the Hadley
centre models could tell me how they did this? I have a program that should
be able to convert the Hadley UM-format data to netcdf, but I'm not sure
about exactly which variables are necessary to create lateral boundary
conditions for RegCM (the data I have are 6-hourly for surface pressure, u-
and v-wind components, potential temperature as well as specific humidity).
I'm also not sure whether there would have to be some interpolation from the
Hadley model hybrid-sigma co-ordinates to RegCM co-ordinates?
If anyone has any tips, ideas or pieces of code they could send me I'd very
much appreciate it!
Thanks a million for your help!
Ciao,
Fiona
