[RegCNET] Scholarships for Master in Meteorology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Dear All, 
The Centre of Excellence for Climate Change Research (CECCR) at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia announces new applications for two years Master degree Scholarship starting from Fall 2010.  This initiative is based on its capability of having excellent resources in the field of climate science and computing facilities.  The CECCR has already enrolled six students in Master degree; three of them are international. The CECCR welcomes researchers and new students in climate science from home and abroad.
These Master in Meteorology scholarships are available in the Department of Meteorology, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 
The following conditions must be fulfilled for the scholarship:
1.      B.Sc. degree/certificate (at least very good/first class) in Meteorology, Physics, or Mathematics.
2.      The graduation should not be more than 5 years from the application date. 
3.      TOEFL score of 500 (paper based or equivalent) or 5.5 band in IELTS.
The scholarships are for two years, and include the following benefits:


1.      Monthly stipend: 2000 Saudi Riyal ($1= 3.75 Saudi Riyal).
2.      Accommodation in the university dorms.
3.      Free Health Care.
4.      Yearly return air ticket to the applicants' home country.
