The time step is about to be 3 times the horizontal resolution of your
domain in km. So if your resolution is 35 km then dt should be about
35*3=105 seconds. It also depend on the values of other variables like
radfrq, abemh and abatm. The value of dt required to be in multiples of the
values of above variables. It also depends on the machines under use. you
can find the optimum value greater or equal to 105 seconds. The bigger value
of dt will save the simulation time.
