Dear Sir,
The resolution is 60 km
The time steps are: abatm = 600 and dt = 200.
I'm working with 40 points only for this test.
The run message is like that:
OUT-history written date = 2020042500.00000
BATS variables written at 2020042500 3.33333333333333
Writing rad fields at ktau = 1 2020042500
at day = 0.1134, ktau = 50 : 1st, 2nd time deriv of ps = NaN NaN , no. of points w/convection = 0
BATS variables written at 2020042503 180.000000000000
at day = 0.2292, ktau = 100 : 1st, 2nd time deriv of ps = NaN NaN , no. of points w/convection = 0
*** solar declination angle = 13.63 degrees.
dectim = 2880.00000000000
regards

Hi
Ok, then please tell me your resolution and your time step dt. And of course you need to use the same version to run your present day simulations nested both within Reanalysis and ECHAM5 and then use that version too for projections ...
Regards !

Thanks for interest
For the resolution and time steps I cheked the regcm.in so they are like the userguide table.
but for the present time simulation, I tested it with the regcm
code and for ERA40 analysis, but the future projection is with the beta version.
Does that mean that I must run the beta version on a present time periode with ECHAM projections before making any test for the future projection?
yours

Hi,
Did you use the same code and settings to run your present day simulation? Can you tell us which
resolution you are using? Have you checked if your time steps in regcm.in are fine?
Cheers ...

Objet : [RegCNET] Undefined values in ECHAM Run!
Dear RegCMers,
I'm trying to run RegCM3 for a future Projection (2020=).
The PreProcessing steps were run successfully, but when running the model, I remark a NaN values in some fields, for example::
"
OUT-history written date =
2020042600.00000
BATS variables written at 2020042600 0.000000000000000E+000
Writing rad fields at ktau = 576 2020042600
BCs are ready from 2020042600 to 2020042606
at day = 1.0399, ktau = 600 : 1st, 2nd time deriv of ps = NaN NaN , no. of points
w/convection = 0
BATS variables written at 2020042603 180.000000000000
at day = 1.1267, ktau = 650 : 1st, 2nd time deriv of ps = NaN NaN , no. of points w/convection = 0
at day = 1.2135, ktau = 700 : 1st, 2nd time deriv of ps = NaN NaN , no. of points w/convection = 0
*** solar declination angle = 13.95 degrees.
dectim
= 8640.00000000000
"
Please help me if I have to change something in order to make a successful run
Thank you very much in advance
Sassi
