Dear RegCM users

Thank you for all the recomendations I have received, I forgot to mention that I
have tried with diferent timesteps before, even increasing and decreasing by a 2
3 4 x, when I increase the timestep say dt=100 abtm=200, the program last longer
but it crashes anyway. At first I did think that the problem involved just
timestep but now that you mention the values in domain as a cause, I'm starting
to have my doubts. The domain was configurated in the next way:

    parameter(iproj='NORMER') ! Map projection (LAMCON,NORMER,POLSTR,ROTMER)
parameter(iy=100) ! number of grid points in y direction (i)
parameter(jx=100) ! number of grid points in x direction (j)
      parameter(kz=23) ! number of vertical levels (14, 18 or 23)
parameter(nsg=1) ! number of subgrids in 1 grid (one direction)

parameter(ds=20.0) ! grid point separation in km
parameter(ptop= 5.0) ! pressure of model top in cb.

      parameter(clat= 16.0) ! Central latitude (North positive)
      parameter(clon= 16.0) ! Central longitude (East positive)

the rest of the parameters are the defaults in the domain, and it covers just 7
days, I already tried with diferent dates, using 5 or 10 days, and the result
is the same, as I mentioned before I have no problems even with 25, 40, 60 km,
I think finally will use 25 km, but still find quite strange I'm unable to use
a lower value, so please if somebody knows the answer please let me know, at
least I will rest in peace.

Cheers

Carolina
