[RegCNET] anomaly nesting

Has anyone tried "anomaly nesting" with RegCM3? The approach is
outlined
in Misra's 2004 paper in J. Climate. Basically, the boundary
conditions data
from the GCM is debiases for all variables and then used to drive the
regional
model. If anyone has tried it, could you tell me if you were
satisfied with the
results and what improved or got worse in the simulation? Thanks.

One other question. Can RegCM3 use a grid spacing of less than 20km?
Is that the hydrostatic limit for the model?
