[RegCNET] plv postproc problems

This is an old (1 month) thread ...

I find the latest postproc.f useful for compressing large model
output on CDF files, so I have started debugging it
(initialization of some xxx3d_p arrays, and declaration of some
variable types). I'm now using the plv option correctly on ATM fields.

Unfortunately, I have also checked that using the daily average of 
postproc.f 
is only very-similar-to, but not identical-to, using the combination of

  DAY_month.f
  SIGMAtoP

suggested by Bi in another recent post on this subject.

 I have not touched the RAD/CHEM processing and the usgs option yet
 (no check on usgs so it is considered always .true. even if is .false. 
in user.in).
It is a starting point but it works.

I'm not posting the code since I'm still fixing it. However
I'll be glad to know if anybody else is working on this.
