[RegCNET] A BATS1E question

Hello,

I tried to find a clear explanation but failed - please let me know me if the deep soil temperature is calculated in the RegCM3 and so - is dependent on the climate trends in the atmosphere or it is somehow prescribed and I am supposed to take care about it myself.
