[RegCNET] Question about ICBCs

Hi Dr. Bi,
Thanks for your quick response.
I checked the ICBC.f code, the function for converting
RH (relative humidity) to Q is HUMID2FV, which uses
formula: Q=Q*Qs ( Qs=0.622*SATVP/(P-SATVP) )to convert
RH to Q. So I guess here the result Q is mixing ratio,
right? I saw someone are using the same equation to
convert RH to MR on the Internet.
I am not quite familiar with climate variables. I
searched over the Internet and found that the
relationship between SH and MR is SH = MR /(MR+1), so
there are little difference between the two. I am
looking forward to your comments.
