FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT: Summer School on Integrated Ground-based Systems 
Applications

Dear Colleague,

This is the First Announcement of the 7th
INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL ON ATMOSPHERIC AND OCEANIC SCIENCES (ISSAOS)
hosted and organized by CETEMPS - University of L'Aquila, Italy.

Title: 	"Integrated Ground-Based Observing System Applications for Climate,
 	Meteorology, and Civil Protection"
Period:	3 - 7 September, 2007
Venue:	L'Aquila, Italy

The School will focus on the Applications of Integrated Ground-based Systems;
A list of the main topics is provided below:

1)  Review of basic instrumentations, including active and passive systems
2)  Concepts and Techniques for Integrated Ground-Based Observing Systems
3)  Applications to Meteorology and Numerical Weather Prediction
4)  Applications to Cloud Microphysics and Climate Change Monitoring
5)  Applications to Atmospheric Chemistry and Air Quality Monitoring
6)  Applications to Transportation Safety and Civil Protection
