I think I had given enough information to write down CTL file. Anyway, I just want to add in case you
have FvGCM window dataset. Check window size ( You already give this size while running terrain).
The resolution of FvGCM is 1.25 x 1 so using this, you can calculate number of grid points in x and y
direction and also dx and dy.
One inportant thing to remember is that data is not in sequential form but in direct access form.
Also, it is compressed which means you should add
UNPACK offset scale
in CTL file to let grads know that it has to unpack data for you. And just to remind you again, there
are four 3D variables in that file in following sequence:
U 0 18
V 0 18
T 0 18
Q 0 18
The sigme levels for FvGCM, I have already mentioned in very first email....check those. If you still
need help ( I don' think so...) to write down a CTL file for FvGCM then request Bi to write one for you.
Otherwise post yours when you have one ready!
