"Le Donne nella Citta' della Conoscenza" exhibition extended until 11 June

We are pleased to inform you that the exhibition *“Women in the City of 
Knowledge”*, hosted in the Trieste City of Knowledge space, has been 
extended until next Saturday 11 June.

The exhibition will stay open to the public at the following times: on 
Fridays from 16.00 to 19.30 and on Saturdays from 16.00 to 19.30. The 
exhibition will be closed on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June. The 
"Trieste City of Knowledge" space is located in Trieste's central train 
station (Piazza della Libertà, 8).

“Le Donne nella Città della Conoscenza” (“Women in the City of 
Knowledge”) is a photographic exhibition focusing on portraits and 
voices of women of the scientific and cultural system of Trieste. The 
exhibition, dedicated to the role of women in academia, research and 
culture, is an initiative of SISSA, curated by SISSA Medialab, and is 
part of the Trieste Learning City project of Unesco, coordinated by 
Università della LiberEtà and the Municipality of Trieste with the 
support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. The partners are: Elettra 
Sincrotrone Trieste, INFN - sezione di Trieste, INAF - Osservatorio 
Astronomico di Trieste, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and 
Biotechnology ICGEB, Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Tartini”, 
Università degli Studi di Trieste, Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e 
di Geofisica Sperimentale – OGS, “Abdus Salam” International Centre for 
Theoretical Physics – ICTP, The World Academy of Sciences – TWAS.
