*SUNDAY, October 17th - From Basovizza to the old /ice-houses /(9:30-13:00)*

Easy walk, suitable for everyone interested in exploring the beauties of 
the Carso, from Basovizza, through a panoramic path with views on Val 
Rosandra, Muggia and Istria, reaching the old ice-houses called jazere, 
a sort of basins where in the past, ancient people used to produce and 
store the ice.

Meeting point: Basovizza Foiba Monument at 09:10am

Easy 6 km peaceful flat path where you can walk in a colourful bush 
covered by red and orange autumn leaves and discovering ancient 
/castellieri/ (fortified towns) and World War I remains.
