The *Associazione Italo Americana FVG / American Corner Trieste* - 
Piazza Sant'Antonio Nuovo, 6 - Trieste has resumed its activities in 
person with Free Admission and Full Respect of Anti-Covid Protocol.

Starting on June 22nd we offer the American Musical Film Series in our 
association with *Mandatory Reservation** online *(on the website

version-. *22/6 Wizard of Oz, 23/06 American in Paris, 24/06 Grease, 
29/06 Chicago, 30/06 Mamma Mia, 01/07 The Greatest Showman. *The 
Grand Finale of this series will be in the Fall on 28/10 with the Free 
Public Showing of *West Side Story (1961) in the **Sala Luttazzi*- 
magazzino 26-  on the occasion of the *60th  Anniversary *of both* West 
Side Story* and the *Associazione Italo Americana FVG*.

The *second film in our series is An American in Paris*, winner of 6 
Academy Awards and the Music of the Gershwin Brothers and the 
Coreography of Gene Kelly.  The final ballet dance scene of 17 minutes 
is highly acclaimed.

·///Jerry Mulligan, a struggling American painter in Paris, is 
"discovered" by an influential heiress with an interest in more than 
Jerry's art. Jerry in turn falls for Lise, a young French girl already 
engaged to a cabaret singer. Jerry jokes, sings and dances with his best 
friend, an acerbic would-be concert pianist, while romantic 
complications abound./
