KOHIŠČE 2019 - International food, wine and history educational walk - SUNDAY 19 MAY

Easy hike of 5 to 9km suitable for anyone interested in the attractions 
and characteristic features of the Karst area, with a particular focus 
on a World War I trenches and ruins.

DEPARTURES TIME - any time between 8.30am and 10.30 am from:

*Duino* - train station;

*Ceroglie *- adventure park;

*San Giovanni di Duino* - Church San Giovanni Battista;

*Brestovica* - school.

REGISTRATION FEE: €12 for adults and €6 for children under 14.

Over the course of the walk, hikers will be able to enjoy the Karst's 
"dolines" where kiosks will be located serving typical local foodstuffs 
and wine.

Experienced guides in local history (in collaboration with Gruppo 
Associazione Zenobi) will be available.

Finally, hikers will be able to enjoy close encounters with farm 
animals, especially donkeys.

The walk ends at Kohišče with a hot meal served starting from 12am.
