The Executive Committee of IAP for Health (formerly IAMP) will be 
hosting the Spring 2017 meeting of the Federation of European Academies 
of Medicine (FEAM) Council on 21 April 2017 at ICTP.

On this occasion we are happy to announce two Public Lectures that will 
be held in the Euler Room (LB) on Friday 21 April at 11.00 – 12.30

*Forced Migration, Health and Health Inequalities*(J. Mackenbach)

/Johan Mackenbach is Professor of Public Health and chair of the 
Department of Public Health at Erasmus MC, University Medical Center 
Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He represents the Royal Netherlands Academy 
of Arts and Sciences on the Council of the Federation of European 
Academies of Medicine (FEAM)/

*Kangaroo Mother Care*(A. Cattaneo)

/Dr. Adriano Cattaneo MD has spent most of his professional career in 
developing countries, including four years as medical officer with the 
WHO in Geneva. Member of the Italian Society of Epidemiology, of the 
Cultural Association of Paediatricians, and of IBFAN (International Baby 
Food Action Network) Italy, he is past president of the Italian Global 
Health Watch. He also acted as project coordinator of two EU-funded 
projects for the development and field testing of the document 
“Protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding in Europe: a 
Blueprint for Action” (2004, revised in 2008). /
