La "Settimana del Cervello" è una ricorrenza annuale dedicata ad 
aumentare la pubblica consapevolezza nei confronti della ricerca sul 
cervello. Ideata dalla Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives e coordinata 
dalla International Brain Research Organization, la settimana del 
cervello è il frutto di un enorme coordinamento internazionale. 	Ogni 
marzo, i risultati più interessanti della ricerca scientifica vengono 
portati a conoscenza del grande pubblico di tutto il mondo. La campagna 
della Settimana del Cervello già coinvolto più di 4.100 organizzazioni, 
associazioni di malati, agenzie governative, gruppi di servizio e 
organizzazioni professionali in 99 Nazioni.

The " Brain Awareness Week" is an annual event dedicated to increasing 
public awareness of brain research. Conceived by the Dana Alliance for 
Brain Initiatives and coordinated by the International Brain Research 
Organization, BAW is the result of a huge international coordination. 
Every March, the most interesting results of scientific research are 
made ​​known to the general public around the world. The campaign of 
Brain Awareness Week already involved more than 4,100 organizations, 
patient organizations, government agencies, service groups and 
professional organizations in 99 countries.
Every March, BAW unites the efforts of partner organizations worldwide 
in a celebration of the brain for people of all ages. Activities are 
limited only by the organizers’ imaginations and include open days at 
neuroscience labs; exhibitions about the brain; lectures on 
brain-related topics; social media campaigns; displays at libraries and 
community centers; classroom workshops; and more.
