Science Summer Camp - Special offers for ICTP visitors and staff

We would like to inform ICTP visitors and staff that from 25th to 29th August and from 1st to 5th September 2014, the Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico (IS) in Grignano (right by the Adriatico Guest House) turns into a science summer camp for 7 to 12 years old children.
Each day will be devoted to a different science field: from physics to geology, from astronomy to ecology, from meteorology to chemistry, archeology and anthropology. In the course of the day science will alternate with fun: educational games, building objects or toys while learning some scientific principle, demonstrations and engaging interactive thematic “encounters” with famous people related to the history of science.

There will also be some time for holidays school assignments, with the assistance of the IS guides. 
Moreover, trips to the nearby beach “Sirena” or to the Miramare Park will be organised.
Please note that for ICTP visitors and staff there will be a special price (145,00 euros a week).
