Subject:	2006 Christmas Holidays and 2007 Official Holidays



The Director has decided that the Centre will remain closed during the 
Christmas festivities from 23 December 2006 to 6 January 2007 
inclusive.

Staff will be requested to kindly take the following days as annual 
leave or compensatory time off:

	Wednesday, 27 December 2006
	Thursday, 28 December 2006
	Friday, 29 December 2006
	Tuesday, 2 January 2007
	Wednesday, 3 January 2007
	Thursday, 4 January 2007

In consultation with the Staff Representatives, the Director has 
decided that eight of the ten official holidays in 2007 will be as 
follows:

	Monday, January 1,  New Year's Day
	Friday, January 5, in-lieu-of Epiphany
	Friday, April 6, Good Friday
	Monday, April 9, Easter Monday
	Tuesday, May 1, Labour Day
	Thursday, November 1, All Saints
	Tuesday, December 25, Christmas Day
	Wednesday, December 26, St. Stephen (Boxing Day)

The two remaining official holidays (discretionary days) may be chosen 
by each staff member, subject to the needs of their office.
