Why Should You Join?
Vote in real-time: As an attendee, you will have the chance to vote for your favorite presentations, just like in the regional sessions. Your vote will help decide which presenter stands out for their clarity, impact, and engagement.
Support women in science: This is a unique opportunity to see how women scientists are addressing global challenges through their innovative research.
Learn something new: Our finalists will be presenting on an incredible array of diverse research, from human oversight in ethical technology, to how pregnancy affects' mothers and babies' brains, to securing water in a changing climate.
Special rewards: We'll be announcing some exciting rewards for the winners and finalists!
In addition to audience voting, we're also pleased to host a panel of esteemed judges for the finale, including representatives from our partner organizations and and members of the Trieste science system. This will ensure a parallel and independent selection process.
If you'd like to watch the regional sessions of this year's competition, all are available on OWSD's YouTube channel. We look forward to seeing you at the Global Finale, where you can engage with the presentations and cast your vote for the most inspiring scientist. Best regards,
