As part of our ongoing commitment to the UN SDGs, ICTP’s new waste collection system has been implemented at the Leonardo Building. The system aims to reduce the use of plastic bags and increasing recycling efficiency across our facilities.

Key changes at the Leonardo Building include:

This initiative is designed to foster a cleaner, greener workplace and to support our collective effort toward a more sustainable future.

Student Accommodation

ICTP contracts around 50 rooms at a Campus X, a private student housing in Trieste.  The water supply at Campus X had been suspended from mid-June, mainly affecting our Diploma students. Campus X are working to resolve the situation and in the meantime alternative arrangements have been made for sanitary facilities, meals and cooking facilities both at Campus X and at ICTP premises.  All efforts are being made to resolve matters as quickly as possible and to provide timely information to those affected.
