Dear ICTP community,

after over 30 years without major changes, the library is about to begin a long-awaited modernisation to better support your needs.

To allow for the renovation work, the library space will close from Thursday, 8 May.

While the physical space will be temporarily unavailable, our services will continue:

Electronic Resources: You will still have full access to all digital materials via our catalogue, both on and off campus.
Print Collection: As soon as our book collection is relocated to our storage facility in AGH, all titles will be available for request through our catalogue - more information to follow.
Diploma Students’ Reference Collection: This collection will remain accessible throughout the renovation. It will be displayed in Room 131 (next to the library entrance) and available for short-term loan.
Book Returns: You can return borrowed books in Room 131.

During the renovation period, we recommend making use of the following alternative learning spaces: Galileo Guest House - Rooms A, B, and C.

We are excited to begin this important transformation and will keep you updated on key milestones throughout the renovation process.
