Please note that, on the occasion of the forthcoming festivities, ICTP will be CLOSED from Saturday 23 December to Sunday 7 January 2024 inclusive.

ICTP Staff will not be on duty during this period.

In order to facilitate the closure of the buildings, all scientists and staff are kindly requested to leave the premises not later than 5pm on Friday 22 December 2023 and make sure that all electrical devices in their offices are switched off.

BUILDINGS

All ICTP Buildings (LB-EFB-AGH-GGH-MLab-exSISSA 2nd floor) will be closed from the evening of 22 December.

Heating will be switched off.

Please note that window cleaning (all buildings) and wax treatment (Leonardo Building only) will be carried out during the closure, therefore you are kindly requested to remove all personal valuable belongings.

ACCESS CONTROL

The ICTP access badges will be de-activated and no entry is allowed during this period.

SERVICES:

• Leonardo Building and Adriatico cafeterias will be open until 22 December at lunch time
• The Library will close at 4pm on Friday 22 December and will reopen on Monday 8 January 2024

• The ICTP postal services will not be available for the entire period. Incoming mail will not be accepted from 23 December until 7 January inclusive. The national Post Offices will be open according to their usual timetable.

The Security Service Staff will be on duty.
