On behalf of the Director, you are cordially invited to the ICTP Colloquium on "Quantitative Human Ecology: Untangling the Determinants of Sustainability" on Monday 25 July, 10:30 in the Budinich Lecture Hall.

The colloquium is one of a series of events coordinated by ICTP in honour of the UN's International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development.

Speakers Partha Dasgupta from Cambridge University, UK, and Pablo Marquet from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and The Santa Fe Institute, USA will discuss how basic science can shed light on the determinants of sustainability in systems of human and non-human interacting agents.

The Colloquium will be in person.
