NOTICE TO ALL SCIENTISTS AND STAFF

Please note that, on the occasion of the forthcoming festivities,

ICTP will be closed from Friday, 24^th December 2021 to 9^th January 2022 inclusive.

ICTP staff will not be on duty during this period.

In order to facilitate the closure of the buildings, all scientists and staff are kindly requested to leave the premises not later than 5.00pm on Thursday 23^th December 2021, and make sure that all electrical equipments in their offices are switched off.

BUILDINGS

All ICTP buildings(LB-EFB-AGH-Mlab-ex-SISSA 2nd floor), except GGH for the guests accommodated there, will be closed from evening of 23^rd December 2021.

Heating will be switched off in the closed buildings.

Please note that the Leonardo building is strictly closed off from 3^rd January 2022 to 7^th January 2022 due to wax treatment.

ACCESS CONTROL

The ICTP access badges will be de-activated.

Those who exceptionally need to access the buildings during the closure should make a written request to their Supervisors and to

access@ictp.it and secur_mb@ictp.it by Wednesday, 22^nd December 2021.

In case of authorised access, measures related to COVID-19 will be active and the gates for the first entrance of the day will be LB and GGH main entrances only.

The only gate for LB, in any case, will be the main entrance.

CAFETERIAS AND BARS

Leonardo building cafeteria will be open as follow:

Breakfast    9.00 - 10.00 every day of the week

Lunch       12.00 - 13.00 every day of the week

Dinner      19.00 - 20.00 every day of the week

Bars will be closed for the entire period.

The LIBRARY will close at 4pm on Thursday, 23^rd December 2021 and will reopen on Monday, 10^th January 2022.

The ICTP postal services will not be available for the entire period.

The national Post Offices will be open according to their usual timetable.

Incoming mail will not be accepted from 24^th December until 9^th January inclusive.

The Security Service will be normally on duty.
