NOTICE TO ALL SCIENTISTS AND STAFF

Please note that, on the occasion of
          the forthcoming festivities,

ICTP will be closed from Thursday,
            24^th December 2020 to Wednesday, 6^th
            January 2021 inclusive.

ICTP staff will not be on duty during this
          period.

In order to facilitate
          the closure of the buildings, all scientists and staff are
            kindly requested to leave the premises not later than 5.00pm
            on Wednesday 23^rd December 2020,
          and make sure that all electrical equipment in their offices
          are switched off.

BUILDINGS

All ICTP buildings(LB-EFB-GGH-Mlab

          -ex-SISSA

2^nd

 floor), except AGH for
          the guests accommodated there, will be closed from evening
            of 23^rd December 2020.

Heating will be
          switched off in the closed buildings.

Please note that the Fermi building is strictly closed
          off from 28^th December 2020 to 6^th
          January 2021, due to wax treatment.

ACCESS CONTROL

The
 ICTP access badges will
            be deactivated.

Those who exceptionally
          need to access the buildings during the closure should make a
          written request to their Supervisors and to 

access@ictp.it
 and 
secur_mb@ictp.it

CAFETERIAS AND BARS

ICTP cafeterias and bars will be closed.

Catering Service will be provided for the Guests
          accommodated in AGH only.

ICTP LIBRARY 

The Library will close at 4pm on Wednesday, 23^rd
          December 2020 and will reopen on Thursday, 7^th
          January 2021.

POSTAL SERVICES 

The ICTP postal services will not be available
          for the entire period.

The national Post Offices will be open according to
          their usual timetable.

Incoming mail will
            not be accepted
 from 24^th December 2020 until 6^th
          January 2021 inclusive.

Electricity cuts
          is foreseen on Thursday 24^th
            December for LB and EFB (from 7.30am to 1.30pm).

During this day the IT
            services will be affected.
