Several
strikes are planned in UK
for next weeks:

The English UNITE union representing about
20% of British Airways flight attendants operating
at London Heathrow airport has called
two-day strike on 25th and 26th December.
Delays
and cancellations are possible for flights operated from the
airport, but the airline announced plans to minimize the
impact of the action.
The
flights operated from London Gatwick, Stansted and London
City Airport should be regular.
It
is advisable to keep you updated in the coming days by
consulting the BA website and to check the status of your
flight.

Virgin Atlantic Pilots
have called a strike for 25th and 26th December.

The UNITE union has called a
48-hours strike for airport workers (employees at
check-in and handling) for
23rd and 24th December.
The
British airports potentially impacted are 18, including
London Heathrow, Stansted, Luton and Gatwick, Belfast,
Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds-Bradford and Manchester.

The workers of British
Southern Rail have called a strike from 24th
December to 2 January and from 9 january to 14 janaury,
that will also affect the
Gatwick Express. It is advisable to check the status
of your train and consider alternative means of transport.
